The Hetregò history starts in Italy from an extraordinary intuition by Luigi Minardi, who in 1916 establishes a small artisan company dedicated to the processing of ornamental feathers. From the first manufacturing of the jackets for the bersaglieri (an Italian army rifle regiment), the company quickly evolved and today It manufactures high quality eiderdowns. The feathers are processed in the company, by treating, washing, and sterilising them most accurately, by giving in this way the utmost lightness and warmth to the jackets. The Hetregò name, made up of the French Etre (to be), and the Latin Ego (I), or, if you like, the English (Go), summarises the company’s dynamic philosophy and projection towards the future. The logo given by styling of three cypresses fondled by the wind symbolises the perfect relation with the environment.
